If you want to beta test Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 but can’t risk breaking any application/website, you may want to run IE 7 in a standalone mode. To do this go to Jon Galloway’s Blog
and follow the simple instructions there. He’s even made a batch file which opens IE 7 and cleans up the registry mess it creates after closing IE 7
