While Microsoft watcher Steven Bink says on his website Bink.nu that he saw Office 12 demos at IT Forum where the apps were named Office 2007, Windows Connected says company officials have informed them they have not locked on a final name, but that this name is a consideration. They have also confirmed that they are still on track to ship Office “12″ in the second half of 2006.
