Technet already offers newsletter personalization. Now you can personalize your technet hompage by signing up for My Technet. You need to sign in with your Microsoft .Net Passport id. After which you will be asked some questions like:

What areas are you most interested in developing additional knowledge and skills, outside of the area(s) in which you currently work?
How do you like to learn about and get information on technology?
What types of systems and products do you currently work with?

After answering these questions, users can see personalized headlines from Microsoft. This feature is already available in MSDN.
