
Nokia’s E61 is the first S60 smartphone with a QWERTY keyboard. AllAboutSymbian reports that it has been approved by the FCC.
The user manual highlights some features of the new phone like:
1) Email data roaming which enables switching from WLAN to GPRS
2) WLAN support for WEP, WPA, ESA protocols
3) Security features including auto-lock (access only via security code after set time), remote locking, and VPN.
4) New Web browser with support for RSS feeds
5) Word, Excel and Powerpoint (provided by Quickoffice)
6) Built in Flash Player
7) Built in print option to print from messages and files on the phone
And many other features.
