Last week I spoke about how Verizon Wireless Sync disables the Activesync connection. This week I will speak about Kaspersky Anti Virus and Anti Hacker.

Based on my experience just disabling Kaspersky Anti Virus Personal/Pro or its services doesn’t help. You have to disable Kaspersky network protection:

1. Open the main Kaspersky Antivirus window
2. Click on the ?Settings? tab
3. Click on ?Configure Real-Time Protection?

For Kaspersky Personal:
4. Click on “Real-Time Protection settings”
5. Check ?Disable protection against network attacks?

For Kaspersky Personal Pro
4. Click on the ?Network? tab.
5. Uncheck ?Enable real-time protection against network attacks?

And if you’ve got Kaspersky Anti Hacker installed the only resolution I know is to uninstall Kaspersky Anti Hacker, disabling it alone doesn’t help.
