Not many people know how to identify MSFP. Some people think that the Motorola Q ships with the MSFP pack which is incorrect. To know if you have MSFP (or AKU2 as it is called) installed on your device, go to Start—>Settings—>System—>About and check the build number of your Windows Mobile OS. If you have MSFP on your device the build should start with 14847.2.x.x. The number 2 in the second octet is most important. The first five numbers may be vary with OEMs/carriers.

An alternative way of checking AKU2 is to open File Explorer, go to the Windows folder and look for a text file named AKU2.
