Robert McLaws of Longhorn Blogs has done a statistical analysis of some 28,000 bugs reported in Windows Vista by copying all the bugs in an Excel spreadsheet and then used PivotTables and PivotCharts to analyze the data. Worth checking out at Longhorn Blogs
