Here’s a list of some File Compression (zip, rar,etc) applications for S60 phones:

1) Wildpalm’s ZipMan: Supports zip, rar, tar and gzip
2) EokSoft’s EokZip
3) Epocware’s HandyZip
4) S60Zip

Out of these, only ZipMan supports rar, tar and gzip file through additional plugins. And S60Zip is only free software in the list.
All these applications are currently limited to Series 60 2nd Edition
