Rapidshare has increased the file size limit to upload files from 100MB to 300MB. The bad news is that after downloading 50MB of content with unlimited speed, they will reduce the download speed to 100 KB/s for free users for the rest of the download. I guess this is to prevent users from trying to download behind a proxy.
Also the wait time before downloading a new file has increased too.
“The delay between two downloads is now defined by the download-traffic you have generated before”
Earlier they excluded traffic worth 30MB.
Update: You can still bypass the increased Rapidshare timer by typing javascript:alert(c=0) in your browser’s address box when the countdown starts.
