Jason Langridge has reviewed the Windows Mobile Device Center (aka Activesync) for Windows Vista. You can connect your Windows Mobile 2003/5.0 device to Device Center via Bluetooth and USB but still not through WiFi.
New Features include:
-Built in wizards to setup your Exchange Activesync, POP3, IMAP4 email accounts from the desktop and push those settings over to the mobile device
-The Pictures Music and Video option allows you to import media from your mobile device. Pictures can optionally be tagged and imported into My Pictures on the desktop
