GTalk2VoIP Team has released Talkonaut, a Java J2ME based software for MIDP 2.0 capable mobile phones like Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Blackberry that allows Jabber and Google Talk instant messaging users to send free IM and SMS text messages, as well make voice calls to other Google Talk, MSN/Windows Live Messenger, SIP and Talkonaut users. Talkonaut allows you to make cheap VoIP calls to any mobile or landline phones worldwide based on the GTalk2VoIP technology over a GPRS or a WiFI connection as well as send off-line messages to Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger users. This software should also work on any Palm and Windows Mobile device using the IBM Websphere (search this site) Java VM.
