In a recent interview with Opera Watch, Opera CEO Jon von Tetzchner talks about the future of Opera and some of the exciting features planned for the desktop and mobile platform.
Opera offers free online storage and space through My Opera but I’ve always wondered (I’ve been using Opera since version 6) why they’ve never utilized it so that users can synchronize bookmarks, history, session, cookies and other profile information to an online server like Google offers for Mozilla Firefox to be accessed from any computer/mobile device.
Well, now it looks like it may get better than this. The Opera CEO hinted at synchronization between different Opera platforms including desktop computers and mobile devices

“we?re adding the capability to synchronize things between the different offerings, whether you?re using Opera on the mobile or the desktop and the like, which is going to make the experience of utilizing the internet across platforms seamless”
