Nokia has announced a free Gizmo VoIP settings plug-in for Nokia N80i (Internet Edition) which can be installed from the Download! folder on the mobile device or from gizmovoip.com/n80. This will automatically configure the settings required to make Internet VOIP calls from your N80 using Gizmo Project settings.

During installation, users can create a free account that can be used to make Internet calls. Other capabilities, such as customizing voicemail greetings, purchasing Gizmo Call Out credit for dialing landlines and mobile devices and managing Gizmo account settings are also available.

Downloading the VOIP plug-in on the mobile device:

1) Goto www.gizmovoip.com from your mobile browser
2) Enter into the “Account Manager” area
3) Click the Download Gizmo VoIP icon. This will download the Gizmo VoIP plug-in. Follow the prompts to install

Once the plug-in is installed, you can configure it by doing the following:

1) Click the Applications button on your phone. Select the “Internet” folder. Select the “Internet tel.” icon. It will show Discovering Service.
2) When you get a prompt Configure Gizmo VoIP?, click Yes.
3 Enter your Gizmo username/password or create a new account.
4) You will be notified once the phone is successfully configured

You are now ready to make Internet VOIP calls from your Nokia N80i
