Pando is a peer to peer solution based on BitTorrent protocol for sending and recieving huge files over the internet without exceeding the limits provided by your email service provider. For example, one can easily send a 600MB ISO image via Pando plug-in for Outlook.
Now Pando has released a beta version 1.2 that extends the core functionality of Pando’s P2P BitTorrent attachment system in Webmail.
With this plug-in you can define an attachment size limit imposed by your email provider. So, for example, if you specify a limit of 10MB and you try to attach a 20MB file through Webmail, Pando will detect that and offer to package and transfer the files for you in the background through BitTorrent.
Pando 1.2 currently supports the following Webmail services:
Yahoo Mail
Yahoo Mail Beta
Hotmail
AOL Mail
Gmail
It currently works only with IE 6 or IE 7.
