GSM Tracker is a free online location tracking service software for Nokia S60 1st and 2nd Edition mobile devices (similiar to GPS) that allows yourself and others to discover your realtime location based on GSM cell ids. Users discover cells and area and create a database of location info, to then help other users find their current location.

When you select the Locate me function, GSM-Tracker will attempt to find your location in our database, based on information received from your mobile handset. If it can’t, then it means you have found a new Area and you can name the Area yourself for future reference by others. Within an Area, there can be several cells named by the biggest street or any landmark reference point in that location.

An S60 3rd Edition and Windows Mobile version will soon be available.
