BarCoder J2ME v1 is a freeware barcode reader for Java J2ME capable mobile devices like Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Motorola. You need to enter the 13 digit (EAN-13) code into the application after which the items’s barcode will be decrypted and give you the following information :

1) Manufacturer’s name
2) Manufacturer factory code
3) Product factory code
4) Authenticity of the manufacturer
5) Manufacturer country
