ArsClip is an excellent freeware application for Windows XP and Vista that allows you to monitor, save a history of your Windows clipboard, search the history of items and use it for future use. ArsClip runs in the system tray and monitors for new clipboard items (by default, only text items). The software is highly configurable and offers a lot of features including:
-Hotkeys: If you are working is a program such as Word or your browser, you can press the Hotkey configured for Arsclip which will pop up a small window from where you can paste items into the current program from the temporary/permanent clipboard
-When the limit of clipboard items has been reached, the oldest items are not deleted but are still available in a section called Removed Items. You can even search old items in the list
-ArsClip lets you keep a list of items, that you frequently paste, always on the popup, called Permanent Items.
-ArsClip supports pasting multiple items into a program by Form Mode. When in Form Mode, you click an item on the popup, ArsClip pastes the item, simulates a TAB keypress, and then displays the popup again.
