Launchy is a freeware application that provides Windows Vista like functionality for the Start Menu in Windows XP. Windows Vista includes a Search box in the Start menu where you can type a few letters of the application’s name and quickly launch the program.

Similiarly, Launchy indexes the programs in your Windows XP Start Menu and can launch documents, files, folders, and bookmarks quickly without searching for it manually through a long list of programs.
