Windows Easy Transfer Companion Beta is a freeware software that enables you to automatically transfer any software/application/program installed on a Windows XP computer to a Windows Vista-based PC. The software can move more than 100 of the most popular programs, as well as many others that you may have installed.You can select which programs you want to migrate from XP to Vista.

Easy Transfer Companion is designed to be used in addition to Windows Easy Transfer—which is part of Windows Vista and automatically transfers data and settings.

Both PCs must be connected via an Easy Transfer Cable (available from retailers) or a network cable on the same LAN and must be run as a user with Administrator rights.
