SecureIX is an online service that provides a free PPTP VPN server account that you can connect to remotely from a blocked network/corporate environment thus encrypting and tunneling your data through a secure channel and bypassing web proxies/filters like Websense, SurfControl and Smartfilter.
You can then connect to P2P networks, download BitTorrent files, play online games, connect to IRC channels, browse blocked or censored websites and more.
SecureIX offers an IMAP/POP SSL-enabled e-mail account with PGP encryption and 1 GB storage, Usenet newsgroup access, and an encrypted VPN service all for free, for personal use
