Microsoft has finalised the Windows Live Search for Mobiles application with its latest release.
According to Gizmodo, the nwe version has added contact list integration (get directions to people in your address book) and features saving search results, sending SMS search results to a friend, and general User Interface and usability improvements.
On the Java side, support has been added for mobile phones like Nokia E-Series, and support for the UK as well.

In a related development, Microsoft has updated its homepage with infomation about Windows Live for Windows Mobile displaying a tighter integration between Windows Live services such as Email, Messenger, Search and Spaces and Windows Mobile 6.0 aka Crossbow which was released today at the 3GSM conference
