SIPphone, the company behind Gizmo Project and Gizmo Call, has launched a new service called Gizmo SMS that allows you to send unlimited SMS text messages from your PC’s web browser to around 50 countries worldwide free of cost.

You can also create web links such as: http://gizmosms.com/1234567890 which will redirect to GizmoSMS.com with the mobile number automatically populated into the number field.

The best part is one does not need to remember and select the carrier name of the recipient. When you select the country of the recipient’s carrier, the country code is all that is needed which is already prepopulated.
