Here’s a small tip to speedup browsing in Windows Explorer. You may have noticed that after a computer reboot or from time to time, Windows Explorer takes some time to load up. This is because it tries to search for network folders and printers in the background. To disable this feature,

1) Open Windows Explorer
2 Go to Tools—>Folder Options
3) Select the View tab and remove the checkmark against “Automatically search for network folders and printers”
4) Click Apply and then OK
