The S60 Mulltimedia Blog reports that Nokia has released a new addon for PC Suite called Nokia Video Manager that helps you copy and transfer videos from a desktop computer to your Nokia S60 mobile phone transcoding them on the fly to the most optimal and appropriate format for your mobile device. Nokia Video Manager supports conversion from AVI, MPEG, WMV and MOV (DivX, XVid, MPEG-2 and Quicktime codecs) video formats on your Windows PC to Nokia S60 compatible MP4 (H.264). As per AAS, current S60 phones that are capable of playing H.264 codec format are Nokia N75, N76, N80, and N93 while the officially supported phone models are the Nokia 6110 Navigator, Nokia 6290 and Nokia 5700 XpressMusic.

The addon requires the latest verion of PC Suite 6.83 and can be installed on Windows XP and Vista
