For deleting all the contact at once u need to use HTC's inbuilt application SIM Manager. Open SIM Manager--->Select Menu--->Select Delete Contact(it will load all the contacts here)----->Select Menu----->select option(check all the contacts now)----->select delete on the bottom left side. AND BINGO... u get rid of all the contacts now :) For Sim contacts: Open SIM manager(this will load all the SIM contacts)---->Select Menu---->Select the option- select all----->select delete on the bottom left side.
