I use Opera for my daily work since it is exceptionally faster in loading pages than IE 7 or Firefox and has lot of features out of the box (unlike Firefox for which you need to load extension for every other thing what Opera does).
Except for Google’s GMail service, all the other services such as Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Picasa Web Album and Google Calendar throw the following error when you try to use them through Opera 9.2 or previous versions: Sorry, but this browser does not support…..
Although Opera’s Web Opening team is working with Google to resolve, here is a temporary respite in the form of this Jscript which can be download from here (Right Click and Save As) and saved under the C:\Documents and Settings\{Profile Name}\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\userjs folder.
If you analyze this file, you will notice that the author has neatly documented if a bug is related to Opera or Google.
Note: Adding &browserok=true at the end of a URL does allow you to create a new Google Word document but Google Spreadsheets is a no go.
