Nokia N95 ships with an integrated GPS module and the Smart2Go mobile GPS application. While the basic functionality of Smart2Go is free, advanced features such as turn-by-turn driving directions in real time based on current GPS location and voice based guidance is charged.

AmazeGPS is an alternate freeware third party application for Nokia N95 that offers free turn-by-turn voice based directions in real time based on your GPS location. Apart from that, it offers other features such as;
-Visual and voice guidance to any destination
-Search and view any location by address
-Search and navigate to businesses listed in the yellow pages
-View any location on the map
-View and use dynamic high-quality maps of various scales
-View aerial photos and satellite images
-View topographic maps
-View real-time traffic conditions on the map
-Calculate the fastest way between two locations
Note:
If you keep getting GPS authorizations messages when running amAze, do the following:
>Goto Menu / Tools / Application Manager
>Scroll down, select “amAze”, and choose Open
>Scroll down to “Positioning” and select “Ask First Time”

1Great app! And it seems like unlike the expensive Nokia navigation service, this one is completely FREE.

4Hi, have tried them all, Nav4All, Google Maps, GPSMap, etc.. but can say without hesitation, AMAZEGPS, is amazing, best GPS navigation system for smartphones, even if your phone is not specified, try the nearest model and load, u will be surprised.

6Just took it for a test drive to a nearby place I’d never been, got there/back fully guided with no problems. Slight confusion with a double mini roundabout, but that could probably have been avoided if I was looking at the screen. It keeps calling a roundabout a ‘circle’, but there I’m just being picky.
FYI: using a nokia n95 with no dash holder, so relying on audio only, no arrows/map. Also the first time I’ve ever used an in-car GPS, so I have no basis for comparison. Still, well worth the £free.
Also no adverts yet. Which is nice.

7What does it cost with maps for Texas and New Mexico and how do you install it on the N95?
