Microsoft has introduced some great fonts with Windows Vista and Office 2007 like Calibiri, Cambria, Candara, Consolas, Constantia, Corbel, Nyala and many more.
The great thing about these fonts is all of these fonts have been optimized for screen-readability at the Microsoft Typography Labs; and for the first time, it is possible to have fonts that display great on the computer screen and look just as good on paper, due to the advanced anti-aliasing features and OpenType libraries employed.

If you want to get these fonts for use on a computer with Windows XP and Office XP or 2003 installed, head over to Microsoft to download and install Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007.
After running the Compatibility Pack, these fonts should get installed under C:\WINDOWS\Fonts and should be visible in any of your applications that utilize the builtin Windows fonts library.
