Microsoft has announed that Windows Live Hotmail is launching globally in 36 languages around the world. With this release, Microsoft is focussing on providing offline access to your emails from a desktop computer or a mobile device.
1) Outlook Connector for Outlook 2003 and 2007: A few months ago, Microsoft had stopped providing free MSN/Hotmail access from Outlook clients and introduced a paid version of their Outlook connector if you wanted offline access for your MSN/Hotmail account. Now Microsoft is changing its tactics again by providing a free connector for Outlook 2003/2007 email clients
2) Windows Live Mail Beta- If you don’t use Outlook, you can still access and manage your emails offline using an upgraded version of Outlook Express or Windows Mail (in Windows Vista)
3) Offline mobile access using Windows Live Mobile: Apart from being able to access emails from a mobile browser through mobile.live.com, you will also be able to use MSN/Hotmail offline from a Windows Mobile 6.0 device
Update: Outlook Connector beta for Windows Vista and Outlook 2007 is now available
