Anywr Beta is a new mobile service that allows you to import/synchronize contacts from various email services such Windows Live Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo! and AOL to your mobile device using the SyncML protocol via WiFi, GPRS or 3G internet. It serves as a free backup service in case of accidental deletion of contacts/calendar entries. You can group your contacts and update them with relevant information like pictures, phone numbers, birthday and so forth as well as invite them to anywr to keep their personal information updated with your Address Book. Currently, the calendar functionality is limited to Google Calendar only.

After all your calendar and contacts are imported into the service, you can manage and organize them right from your mobile phone browser. The interface allows you to place a call, send an email or send an SMS text message to a contact or edit a calendar appointment.
