Google has launched a mobile friendly version of the Google Calendar service that features browsing the list of previous and upcoming events and a Quick Add function to add new events from a mobile phone browser. Google Mobile Calendar requires a mobile XHTML browser which supports cookies and SSL. The mobile calendr interface also contains a handy option to display a link to the map of the place where the calendar meeting/event is scheduled to happen.
A settings menu is provided to select calendars to subscribe to or switch between a 12 or 24 hour clock.
SMS alerts and notifications are an onle feature that can be set from the desktop interface of Google Calendar.
