GeoRSS is an extension of RSS that adds geographic location data to a feed.
Here is a quick tutorial to copy Flickr geoRSS feed URLs into Google Maps or any service that supports geoRSS and view them.
The general syntax for geotagged photos/GeoRSS feeds for Flickr is:
http://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/geo/two letter country code/city name
You can simply copy this URL and paste it at maps.google.com
For example, if you want to display all photos from Miami in the State of Florida in United States, you can paste the following URL in Google Maps:
http://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/geo/us/florida/miami
If you just type,
http://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/geo/
photos from all over the world will be displayed.
To display photos geotagged from a specific country, type:
http://www.flickr.com/services/feeds/geo/two letter country code
I haven’t seen this feature documented anywhere on the Flickr Services page or the FAQs.
