Locr Beta is a free application for Nokia S60 v3 based mobile devices that allows you to take photos from your cell phone camera and geotag it with geographical location (Latitude/Longitude) information using data from an integrated or Bluetooth GPS device. Locr also has a PC based version of the software for Windows XP and Vista that allows you to geotag photos/pictures on your desktop computer by selecting the location from Google Maps.

The software sets EXIF location meta tags for the photos which can then be organized, searched and located based on the place where they were takenregardless of the date or time. Photos can also be displayed in Google Maps or Google Earth.

Locr also provides free hosting space to upload geotagged photos and share it with family, friends or public.
