Plaxo has released a completely redesigned preview version of their online contacts, calendar, tasks and notes synchronziation service with an all new interface and even more features than the previous version. The new online interface gives the look and feel of a desktop based application.

Unified address book and calendar: Now you can keep your address book and calendar tasks and appointments synchronized between:
-webmail services such as Windows Live Hotmail, Google Gmail, Yahoo! and AOL
-desktop PIM management applications such as Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird
-mobile devices
Find-as-you-type, click-to-act online address book: You can just type a few letters of the contact’s name and the results are shown in real time as you type. From there, you can click on the contact’s screename to launch IM, click the phone number to call them or click on the address to get driving directions.
Since Plaxo can be installed on multiple computers, you can essentially synchronize and backup your contacts and calendar between multiple webmail services, desktop applications, mobile devices and web browsers.
