Today, Microsoft released a bunch of Beta products for public use.

1) Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Beta:

-Setup/installation experience
-All updates to Messenger would be published through Microsoft Updates. It would be great if the updates don’t contain the complete setup installation but just the relevant dll/exe files to be updated
-The photo frame on the sign-in screen and chat windows has changed

2) Windows Live Writer Beta:

-Improved support for Windows Live Spaces as well as non Microsoft blogging platforms such as Google’s Blogger, LiveJournal, TypePad, WordPress, etc
-Insert picture option/Spell check
-Supports plugins

3) Windows Live Mail Beta:

-Integrated support for setting up and acessing Windows Live Hotmail and other non-Microsoft webmail services such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, aol.com, etc
-Ability to insert emoticons built in
-Spell check

Important: Release notes!

If you install any combination of the Messenger 8.5, Mail, or Writer betas on one computer, each beta must be the same language version. If you try to install one of these betas in a different language, the installation will fail.
