Last month, I had written about Windows Mobile 6.0 Mobile Office applications (Word, Excel and Powerpoint) being ported to Windows Mobile 5.0 Smartphones. It seems like the hacking just doesn’t end there. Even before Microsoft ships Office Mobile 2007 preinstalled on Windows Mobile 6.0 devices from Q3, a member of the XDA Developers forum has managed to extract it from the ROM of a mobile device and made it available as a download. Office Mobile 2007 allows you to view, create and edit Office 2007 Word, Excel and Powerpoint format files such as docx, xlsx and pptx from your Windows Mobile 6.0 Pocket PC.
