Microsoft is internally dogfooding a beta version of voice-enabled Windows Live Search that allows users to speak into the mobile device using the inbuilt microphone and search categories, maps, driving directions, traffic or movies from the search application. The software is currently compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0 and 6.0 based Pocket PC and Smartphones and claims to generally support bluetooth audio speech if your mobile device has Microsoft Bluetooth Audio Stack. Currently you can use VoiceSearch on any field that supports text entry. Microsoft is considering expanding this to fields where users might expect to be able to speak (e.g. the Location list on the home page).

This version also includes Push to Talk feature but is not yet active.
