RealNetworks has released a beta version of Real Player 11 featuring Live streaming and on demand download of videos from video streaming websites. The new Real Player can rip and download streaming videos from virtually any video website in the following four formats: Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime and Real and play it. And with Real Player Plus, you can burn streaming web videos directly to a VCD/DVD.
The player integrates with Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers on Windows (a Safari and firefox Mac version would be available at a late date). To download a video, visit a website and start playing the video. A download button would become hover when a supported video format starts playing. Click on it and Real Player would start the download in its own window. Once the video arrives you can watch the video offline (without buffering) in full screen on desktop PC, television or portable device. You can add your own ratings and comments to the downloaded video recordings as well as share links to the original content with your friends.
Visit realplayer.com for the download.
