NStarter Beta is a free utility for Nokia S60 3rd Edition based NSeries/ESeries mobile devices that allows you to assign upto 12 different hotkeys to various applications of your choice on your mobile device and launch them by pressing a combination of Pen/Shift plus two buttons. The great thing about this utility is that you can launch shortcuts to applications from any screen on the mobile phone, not just from the active standby screen.

NStarter uses the [Pen] key (or Shift key on full-keyboard devices) along with numbers 0-9 and # or *to launch shortcuts to applications. The software also has an integrated reboot option for which you can assign one of the hotkeys to restart the device conviniently (not that pressing the power button is difficult:) ) NStarter hardly uses any RAM, runs in the background and does not display in the task list. To bring it to the foreground, press Pen+C.

Update: NStarter 1.02 is now available for download.

1Hi
I downloaded nstarter 1.02 but it gives me a “certficate error” error message when i try to install on my Nokia N73 S60 V3. I have set my phone to allow all software installations with no certificate checks.
Please help!
Thanks!
