MacRumours links to a new interesting service called Jott that allows users to call a toll-free number, dictate short voice messages over the phone & get a transcripted copy of the voice message sent to yourself or another person through email or SMS text message.
When you call the toll-free number, you are identified based on your mobile phone caller id. You are then prompted for who you’d like to “Jott” to after which you can record your voice message. The message is then transcribed by humans and delivered to the recipient through SMS/Email.
You can import contacts from GMail, Yahoo, Outlook and other services and send Jotts to a single or multiple (group) recipients.

1Gotta love it! Jott has made life that much easier for me! And I’m not a busy body. Something like this would work well in the business world. Any idea what Jott has in mind with that?
