Cmans Studios’ Otran is a freeware utility for Nokia S60 mobile phones that allows you to remotely spy, track and locate a stolen/lost device using SMS text commands. It can detect unauthorized changes of SIM card, monitor the telephone and SMS log on the stolen device, automatically archive contacts so that no one can lay hands on it and locate the mobile phone by ringing a high pitch tone even when it is in silent mode profile.

Here are the key features of this application:

- Incase your mobile phone is stolen, the software keeps track of unauthorized SIM card changes. If a new SIM card is inserted, the utility sends this information through SMS to a specified mobile phone (safety number). This another (safety)number is specified by mobile device owner when the software is installed.

-Sound based locating of mobile device. When you can send an sms from other mobile device, you can hear a high pitch tone even if the mobile phone is in silent mode/profile.

-Automatic archiving of contacts in Address book when mobile phone is stolen. You can later choose to restore them by entering the correct passcode.

-The User interface is hidden from the Applications menu, Taskbar and Add/remove program manager of mobile device. To launch the GUI of OTran, you can simply dial your passcode (which can be configured during setup) with a ‘*’ prefix and cut the call after three(3) seconds.

-SMS/Phone logs can be secretly monitored for the converstaions taking place from the device. The log is secretly maintained even if the logs are cleared.
