Outbank’s S60SpotOn is a freeware application for Nokia S60 2nd and 3rd Edition based mobile devices that allows you to use your mobile phone as a Torch. With this application, you can control and keep the display backlight and hardware camera flash of your smartphone permanently switched on. The latest version supports use of full screen mode while display is active which effectively increases the brightness of backlight by up to 20%.

Current Known issues include:

Nokia N71/N95: Camera flash not supported (only in “red”)
Internal Camera application and S60SpotOn-Flash can’t be used at the same time.
