So could I join two computers via FTP with some kind of cable (usb, ethernet or modem-to-modem seem available on my two laptops...) and use Filezilla server on XP to move my files over? Because it seems that Windows Vista is unable to do anything more than transferring a very limited subset of what's on my old laptop, when in fact, I have a lot of stuff I want to move. I just want two computers to talk to each other securely.
