A new version of Universal Extractor v1.6 Beta with Windows Vista compatibility is available for download. Universal Extractor is a free application that allows users to extract the contents of an executable (EXE) or Windows Installer (MSI) file. It can extract files from virtually any type of archive, regardless of source file type, compression method, etc., such as Zip, RAR, ACE, 7-Zip, Bin, Cue and Cab.
New features in this release include:
-Windows Vista support
-Individual vs. Global preferences
-Preferences GUI functionality
-Menu bar functionality
