FoxyTag Beta is a freeware mobile application for Java J2ME mobile devices that signals and alerts you to upcoming speed cameras while driving using an integrated or external Bluetooth GPS device, reports Mashable. If you are within 15 seconds of a speed camera, the software will display a red point for the speed traps on the screen radar.

FoxyTag is a non-profit collaborative academic project that depends on users worldwide to post tags for various types of speed cameras that they might encounter whether fixed, moving, or invisible on a Google Maps Maplet.
You can signal a fixed speed camera by pressing the key “1″ of your mobile phone, a mobile one by pressing key “2″ and that a camera disappeared (you get an alarm but you do not see any speed camera) by pressing “0″. You are also invited to signal speed cameras that have already been tagged; by confirming their presence.
Before you install the application, download FoxyTest, a utility that verifies the prerequisites of installing FoxyTag.
There are two versions of the application, one for devices with integrated GPS that can be downloaded here and the other one for devices with an external bluetooth GPS which can be downloaded here.
