Volumouse is a free software that allows you to increase or decrease the sound volume on your Windows Vista computer (both 32-bit and x64 versions) scrolling the mouse wheel in combination with a hotkey.

Volumouse allows you to define a set of rules for determining when the mouse wheel will be used for changing the system sound volume. For example: you can configure Volumouse to use your mouse wheel to change volume control when the Alt key is held down, when the left mouse button is down, when the mouse cursor is over the taskbar, when Windows Media Center is focused, when iTunes is focused, when mouse cursor is over the Vista Gadgets, when GOM Player is focused, when Alt+Shift are down, when Alt+Ctrl are down, when Ctrl+Shift are down and other such options
When the conditions that you define are not satisfied, the mouse wheel can be used for the regular scrolling tasks.
