Teleflip flipOut is a free web/mobile service that allows users to send free Email to SMS text messages to any mobile phone in USA or Canada without remembering or needing to know the recipient’s carriers’ Email2Sms SMTP domain/gateway. Most mobile operators offer subscribers an Email2Sms SMTP address in the form of [10-digitmobilenumber]@carrierdomain.com so that they can receive text messages from non-mobile devices.

To use the service, a user can simply send an email to the recipient’s 10-digit mobile phone number @ teleflip.com [1234567890@teleflip.com] from any email client. Teleflip stores the most up-to-date SMS gateway information of more than 70 mobile carriers/operators and forwards the message accordingly by extracting the operator/carrier from the phone number in the email address. This service can be used from any desktop or mobile phone email client.
