Random Ringtones v1.2 by oblyvaeon is a free Mortscript for Windows Mobile that allows you to select a folder/directory on your mobile device and randomly play a different ringtone for every incoming phone call from it. This script works by detecting if a phone call notification window is currently active (WndActive) every 1000 milliseconds. As soon as the call notification window becomes inactive after the script has detected an active window, the ringtone is changed in the registry. So every next phone call plays a different ringtone.
Usage instructions:
1) Download and install Mortscript for Windows Mobile
2) Download and copy the two scripts (oblyvaeonRandomRingtones.mscr and oblyvaeonRandomRingtones_Disable.mscr) in the same folder, anywhere on your device.
3) Run oblyvaeonRandomRingtones.mscr. When you first run the script, it will prompt to select a directory (default is \Windows\Rings) from where you’d like the ringtones to be played. You can enter any path that contains valid ringtones for your device (i.e. .WAV, .MP3, .WMA, .MID). It is important that you specify a folder which contains valid, playable ringtones.
4) After you enter a valid path, a configuration file (.INI) will be created in the script’s directory, and the script will run in the background until you deactivate it using the other script ( or soft reset the device)
5) Your current ringtone setting (before activating the script) will be restored if you deactivate the script
6) If you want Random Ringtones to activate automatically every time you start or soft-restart your device, make a shortcut (.LNK) to only the main script (oblyvaeonRandomRingtones.mscr) in your Windows\Startup directory.
