BluePhoneMenu is a freeware application that allows you to make phone calls, send SMS and check the Caller ID of your Bluetooth enabled mobile device on your Mac OS X desktop computer.

BluephoneMenu

BluePhoneMenu sits in your menu bar waiting for a call from any Bluetooth mobile phone that you may have paired and alerts you to incoming calls, allowing you to call back or SMS a reply directly from the menu. It also keeps track of phone calls received, listing names, times and which phones received them. It can also monitor the signal strength and remaining battery power of your cellphone, as well as alert you to new voice messages and tell you if your phones are on silent mode or off the hook. The SMS center allows you to manipulate and manage SMS text messages saved on the SIM card or main memory of your mobile phone directly from your desktop.

Advanced auto-completion lets you call or SMS anyone in your Address Book by typing the first few letters of their first or last name, nickname or email address.
