Nokia Text to Speech Message Reader is a free tool that reads aloud messages and allows you to listen to SMS text messages, multimedia messages (MMS), and emails on your Nokia S60 3rd Edition mobile device in your native language. The service is available only for selected S60 mobile phones where the application is preinstalled such as Nokia E50, E65, E90 Communicator, N75, 5500 Sport, 5700 XpressMusic, 6110 Navigator, 6120 classic and 6290 phones.

To play a message, press and hold the left selection key when you receive a text message. To start reading a message in Inbox or mailbox, select Options > Play.

You can download the following language packs to listen messages in your native language: Danish, Dutch, French, German, Greek, Italan, Norwegian, Polish, Portugese, Russan, Spanish, Swedish, Latin America, Chinese, Japanese and English

The message reader on the nokia E65 doesnt seem to work with email. The above post refers to an option ‘Play’ under messaging. That option doesnt seem to be ther on my E65. Does anyone know how to get the message reader working with email?

Hi i have the message reader(built in)if i go to the “DOWNLOAD!” application on my nokia there are plenty of language packs you can download women or mens voices. Does anyone know where i can find funny packs?like bugs bunny for instance?
